GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

Your beautiful Launstein Wood Floors deserve to be set off with the best molding available. Launstein manufactures most standard Hardwood Floor Moldings in the same wood species as your flooring. Call or write for details about Custom Hardwood Floor Moldings to fit your specific needs. 

Launstein carries most of the materials (not tools) you'll need to properly install and finish your new hardwood floor. Service representatives are available to help you determine necessary quantities and materials for your specific project. These materials can be shipped at the same time as your flooring.  

Flooring: After figuring the square foot measurements of your room(s) add 5% to your total for waste. This is the amount of flooring you need to order. The flooring is sold in packages of: 

2 1/4"--18 sq. ft. 

3"--20 sq. ft. 

4"--21.3 sq. ft. 

5"--20 sq. ft. 

Adhesive: 10.5 oz. tubes--1 tube per every 15 sq. ft.; 29 oz. tubes--1 tube per every 40 sq. ft.
Finish: Per manufactures instructions.

The right tools are important. A pneumatic pin nailer is highly recommended. These nailers are available from various sources for as little as $100, or should be for rent in your area. The specific nailer needed for this job is an 18 gauge, 1" brad with a slight head. 

A table saw, electric miter saw as well as miscellaneous hand tools will also be needed.

Shipping
Most orders are shipped on a pallet via common carriers. These are normally large semi trucks so you will want to decide if the delivery would be best to your door or to be picked up at the terminal with your pickup or trailer. Also if delivered to your door there will need to be at least two people at the site for offloading. The bundles will need to be taken off the pallet and handed out pack by pack at about 30lbs each.

All products must be paid for before shipping. We accept personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. If you choose to pay by check, your order will be shipped upon receipt. All shipping costs are prepaid. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Returns and Refunds
15% restocking charge on all returns, including cancelled orders.
Return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer.
No returns after 60 days on any orders.
No refunds or returns on special orders. A special order is any floor that has been modified, such as, scraping, pre finishing or any modifications from its unfinished state.
