Engineered Floors
Our 9/16" locking floor system is our original engineered product. This product has achieved great success in many applications, especially with radiant heat where traditional installation can be a problem. This flooring was designed as a floating system, but has also been glued and/or nailed. Our 3/4" tongue and groove was designed to fill the many requests we had for a quality 3/4" engineered product. Prior to being introduced, both of these products went through extensive testing in our radiant heat lab and also on the job site. Whether it is our original 3/8" solid product or our 9/16" and 3/4" engineered products, we can provide the flooring system and appearance you are looking for. We offer designer flooring in handscraped, distressed and sandblasted looks. These products are available either prefinished or unfinished. There are additional costs for the designer flooring, please call for samples and current pricing.

For the past year Launstein Hardwoods and I have shared a mutually beneficial business relationship. Over that year, our company has shipped nearly a truckload of waste per week to Launstein Hardwoods. From that waste, Launstein has been able to manufacture some of the world’s finest hardwood flooring.

It is too bad more companies did not share the vision of Launstein and thought of these innovative products many years ago. Not only has Launstein’s wood products stretched the resource even further into a beautiful product it has also helped save much needed space in our overflowing landfills.

I personally had the Launstein floating floors installed in my house and could not be happier. The floors have brought the natural beauty of Mother Nature into my home in an efficient, environmentally conscience manner. I commend everyone at Launstein for their efforts in providing their hardwood flooring products in an environmentally responsible fashion.
